General terms & conditions

Welcome to our website. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions between Munster Fire & Safety and the user or viewer of our website 'you'. They do not affect your statutory rights. Making a Purchase

It is easy to make a purchase. Just browse our store, click on any items that you wish to buy and add them to the cart.  After you have finished your shopping, checkout and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.  Payments are processed by Stripe.

 

Prices

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. However, you will be charged the price quoted on the site at the time you place your order.  Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions ore only valid for the specified period.

 

Order Processing

Your order is sent directly to the sales system in our shop for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our team will pick, pack and despatch.  We will aim to do this the same day for all orders in our shop Mon-Sat (excl Bank Holidays).

 

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you.  In this case you will always be e-mailed or called with the option to buy a replacement / alternative item, or you may cancel your order.

 

Shipping and Handling

Delivery is €8.00 for all orders under €100.00. Delivery is by courier and we deliver to all 32 counties of Ireland.  While 99% of deliveries will be there next day, we cannot be responsible for mistakes made by the courier company we use for your order.

 

Protecting your Security

To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks, personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected.  All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Returns

You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of payment or within seven days of receipt of your order (whichever is longer). Notification of any faulty or incorrect goods received must be made in writing either by email or post to Munster Fire & Safety within 7 days of receipt. Arrangement for the collection of faulty or incorrect goods will be made by Munster Fire & Safety. Where you have cancelled your order within the correct period of time, we will return your payment. We will contact you for your credit card details and refund your credit card accordingly when we have received the faulty or incorrect goods back. Upon receipt of the goods, we will refund the contract monies to you within 5 working days.

If you have had goods printed or embroidered these are non-returnable for obvious reasons. You should have received an email proof before print or embroidery which you would have had to agree to before work commenced.  If you are unhappy with any of our products or services please contact us in writing by email or post. All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and treated with utmost confidentiality.

Unsuitable items can only be accepted back for a refund providing that they have not been used or worn. They should be returned with the original packaging to ensure the product is not damaged on the return journey. The cost of returning the unsuitable goods is at the expense of the customer.
